Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg arrived Nigeria yesterday, in what he claims to be his first visit to sub-saharan Africa.

According to his update on Facebook, he will be meeting with Nigerian entrepreneurs and developers and lean about the startup ecosystem in Nigeria.

His first stop was at Co-Creation Hub Nigeria ( CcHub ) in Yaba, Lagos.

Using MailMunch PopUp On Your Blog? Here Is How To Avoid Google's Punishment

In an effort to improve the mobile search experience, Google has announced that starting from January 10, 2017, your site might not rank as highly if popups frustrate users from easily accessing your content on transition from the mobile search results.

Hence, if you've integrated popups on your blog, you might have to review the integration. If you've added popup to your blog after reading my tutorial on how to create MailMunch popups, don’t panic!

Option A) Turn off the Popup for mobile devices and use a Top Bar

Option B) Make your Popups smarter

Target users who are exiting your site not those that arrive your site on page load. You can set this via "When To Show" in “Behavior” step of the MailMunch popup form editor.

Blogger Author Profile Widget : How To Edit, Add Links And Make It Appear Below Posts

The Author Profile widget for Blogger simply allows you to add a short bio to your Blogspot blog, thereby making it easy to tell your blog visitors, a brief about you. You can add the Blogger gadget to the header, sidebar & footer sections of your Blogger blog and you can as well, set it to display below all your blog posts.

If you've linked your personal Google+ profile to your Blogger blog, and adds the widget to your Blogger blog sidebar, footer or header, it will display as About Me widget if you are the only author/admin but it will display as "Contributors List" widget if your blog has more than one admin/author.

If you set it to show below blog posts, it will only display the profile of the Author that published the post.

Kindly note that linking your Google+ profile to your Blogspot blog will make Blogger to display your Google+ profile picture, name and introduction as the "About Author".

How To Edit Blogger Profile

Editing the Blogger Author Profile is now very easy. All you just need to do, is to sign in to your Google account and go to : aboutme.google.com

Thereafter, scroll down to the "Story" section and click on the "edit" icon. Then, edit accordingly. You can add links to anywhere; your social media profiles, opt-in pages etc

Click OK when you are done.

Dlvr.It Stopped Posting To Your Facebook Timeline? Here Is How I Reconnected It

Promoting and sharing my blog posts on social networking sites is very important to me as those sites create a ‘ripple effect’ which drive valuable traffic to my blog. But sharing blog posts on all such sites is time consuming. But why bother when this process can be automated?

Well, dlvr is one of those tools I use to automate the process. It simply makes it easy for me to auto-post updates from my blog to Facebook groups, Pages, Timeline and other social networks.

Yesterday, while trying to use the "Automate" feature of dlvr.it, I discovered that dlvr have stopped posting latest updates from my blog to my Facebook Timeline.

Whenever I check the "Socials" list, I keep seeing "This social has not been able to connect". And if I click on the "Reconnect" tab, I get redirected to a page where I see "Not an administrator" error message.

I re-attempted the authorization as directed in the error message but it won't just work.

I decided to try a trick and it worked for me.

So what's the trick?

Well, I set up a password for my dlvr.it account (so I can sign in without using Facebook).

Thereafter, I removed all the Facebook "Socials" and re-added my Facebook profile.

After authorization, everything returned back to normal and dlvr now automatically posts to my Facebook Profile anytime I publish a new post on my blog.

So if dlvr.it is not working for you too, try the trick.
